Abstract

At the end of October 1921, the Socialist Workers’ Party and the Workers’ Federation of Chile organized a convention of peasant unions in the province of Santiago. El Despertar de los Campesinos was one of the results of that meeting. In this booklet, informed about the agreements and interesting texts were inserted that allow to know the representations of socialists and fochistas about the peasants and their projection as a revolutionary subject.
