Abstract
An interview with Claudio Katz is presented, which mentions his political-intellectual career. From this, he describes some topics of debate of the Latin American left in the second half of the twentieth century; his vision of the strategy to achieve power; the foundations of Marxism that constitute it and the particularities of its theory. At the same time, the need for Marxist critical thinking is addressed.Keywords:
